Good day Divas, fashion lovers and good people, you’re
welcome to SHEIZADIVA BLOG, the blog that keeps you up to date on our brand and
fashion news from all over the world. To debut this blog, we would start off
with SHEIZADIVA’S visit and give away at the FSD on the 2nd of May
2014.
FSD is the Field of Skills and Dreams Vocational, Technical
and Entrepreneurship Training Institute its a private initiative which
started as a concept in the year 2003 to train people with vocational
skills as a panacea to poverty. It was born out of a burden to add value
to the lives of young Nigerians and to reduce the number of youths that
walked the streets aimlessly daily. It is obvious that the Nigerian
economy cannot readily accommodate its growing number of school leavers,
therefore the number of unemployed people continues to increase daily;
meanwhile the needs in industry continue to increase because there are no
skilled workmen to work.

FSD BENEFICIARIES & STUDENTS
We the SHEZIEDIVA Team searched online, found them, and
decided to partner with them in giving away fashion items on their OPEN HOUSE
DAY at THE FSD. This Open house day, is a day to showcase and display skills
acquired by the youths, the interesting thing, is that the FSD has expanded to
training not just youths, but women Youth corp members, and men. The open house
day was held at 2 Ikeja Allen Roundabout. At the event we saw our Creative
Director and CEO of SHEIZADIVA online fashion retail store Sheila Udoji telling
her start up story and giving gift items to the people who had nice items
designed by them on display. Items such as well tailored clothes, throw
pillows, cakes and other skills were on display, SHEIZADIVA selected her
favorite designs and gave out fashion iems to the beneficiaries. Even the
member of staffs got the gift bag from SHEIZADIVA.
The SHEIZADIVA TEAM had the opportunity of looking round and
having a round table discussion with Mrs Omowale Ogunrinde, the CEO and founder
of FSD
